Torque converter housing mold
The inside of the torque converter consists of a four-element structure: pump wheel turbine guide wheel lock-up clutch. The pump wheel is active and the pump wheel speed is equal to the engine speed. The turbine is driven and coupled to the transmission input shaft via splines, and the turbine speed is equal to the transmission speed. The guide wheel is installed between the pump wheel and the turbine to act as a torsion and torque. If the guide wheel is not installed inside the torque converter, the torque converter will be called a coupler. The lock-up clutch ensures the synchronous speed of the turbine and the pump wheel to increase the power. The turbine and pump wheel kinetic energy consumption is zero.
